Xbox vs PS3

I have always loved the Sony Playstation. The first game that started it all was Final Fantasy VII. What a great game that was and one that started many a playstation gamers career. Over the years I pre-ordered both the PS2 and PS3 and would never have looked at the Microsoft Xbox entry to the console market. Last year though through my retail connections I was able to join the Microsoft expertzone experience which gave me a taste of what they could offer. Not only that but through one of their incentives I won an xbox 360 with kinect. This started my experience with this console. My kids started to fall in love with the kinect experience playing kinectamals and kinect sports. While they where enjoying that experience I started to enjoy the online and achievement side of the xbox. This is something I never got from the Sony playstation. Now I find myself picking up the xbox titles from the shelf first rather than the PS3 version, even thoughthe graphics and sound  should be better. Don't get me wrong I'm never going to let my PS3 go, I love Uncharted too much and want number 3 real bad, please Santa, but I find myself drawn to the Xbox.... I'm now confused by which is best...you decide and post me what I should do.........

Gadget Show 2012 - HERE WE COME

For my 1st bit of news is the gadget show live 2012! I have just booked my tickets for the show, which I have attended for the last 2 years.  They just keep on getting bigger and better. Two new big changes this year is the Music Theatre and V.I.P tickets!!

Music theatre is going to specialise in all things gadget and music related. While the VIP tickets will get you not only entry to the event and the live show, but also a meet and great with the presenters, where you can field them some questions that you have always wanted to ask.  This is priced at £129.99 per person if you fancy it, but you will have to hurry as these are limited.

I have my ticket for the Saturday  (dates are 11th to the 15th of April 2012) with the live show in the evening.  This year I will therefore be blogging it with all the new gadgets I can get my hands on!!!!!!!!!

My wife also attends it with me - she actually loves all things tech too and especially loves putting on a helmet and testing the new bikes on the test track. It always makes me giggle!!

Welcome

Well here we go!

This is the first time that I have started this. I feel excited at the thought of doing something that I love.  I spend time reading about other peoples view on tech and gadgets and alway thought "I can do that!"  Well now I am.  Right now I am just coming to grips with it all and plan to keep on improving. Currently I am thinking of the new stuff I want to start getting my hands on and giving you guys my views on it all.  I felt inspired to start today after the news of the passing away of Steve Jobs, a fantastic man for anyone who loved not only Apple products but anyone who loves tech.  The path of Apple will be very interesting, and what a great time to start a blog page to report on the changes ahead.

I hope you enjoy what I am about to venture on and would love to hear ideas on what you like and dislike from such blogs as the same with any writings, without people to read them then they die.  So get posting and tell me what you want!
